Who we are
Meytri is the data controller for the information you give us. Contact our data protection lead at privacy@meytri.com.
What we collect
Your account details; your child’s first name or nickname, age and anything else you choose to add; the moments you describe; how supports went; and a record of which support was chosen and why. If you join the waitlist: your first name, email, region, phone type and the consent you gave. We collect basic technical data to keep the service working.
How we use it
To choose and word supports for your child, suggest changes that might help, keep your account secure and improve Meytri. The words you type are sent to our AI provider only to understand them and write the support. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on your explicit consent for information about your child’s health and on contract for running your account. In India we process data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 with verifiable parental consent. Waitlist emails rely on the consent you give when you join and confirm.
Where it’s stored
Our database is currently hosted by Supabase on Amazon Web Services in Tokyo, Japan, which is outside the UK and India. [To complete: the safeguards that apply to this international transfer, or the move to a UK or EU region.] Other services that process data for us: Anthropic (AI writing), Resend (email) and Vercel (website hosting).
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. Ask us to delete a child’s profile or your account and the related data is removed within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it. Waitlist signups that are never confirmed are deleted after 48 hours.
Your rights
You can access, correct, download or delete your data, withdraw consent, and complain to the ICO in the UK or the Data Protection Board of India.

Using Meytri
Meytri is for adults caring for a child. Children may use child mode on a parent’s device, with the parent present.
Not medical advice
Meytri is a support tool, not a diagnostic tool. It doesn’t replace advice from a qualified professional. Always consult your child’s therapist. In an emergency, call 999 in the UK or 112 in India.
Subscriptions and trials
Meytri will offer a 14-day free trial, then a monthly or annual subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time in your app store settings. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
